Editorial policy

Trusted Sports Insider aims to make sport easier to follow without making its explanations grander than the subject allows. We distinguish description from opinion, give readers enough context to understand a claim, and revise our work when a meaningful error comes to light.

Accuracy and context

We check names, terms and explanations against suitable published material before publication, and make clear which sport, competition or situation an explanation describes. Rules and practices can vary; where that matters, we say so rather than imply a single standard. We do not invent quotations, events or supporting details.

Independence

Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A commercial relationship does not buy control over an article's conclusions, and we do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgement. If a partnership affects content or presentation, readers will be told clearly.

Corrections

If you spot a factual error, write through the Contact page and identify the article and the detail in question. We review correction requests, update confirmed errors, and add a clear note to the article when the change materially affects its meaning.

Partners and illustrations

Paid or partner material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an illustration is AI-generated, we identify it as such and do not use it as evidence that a real sporting event occurred.
